Her experience in architecture and farming brings a unique foundation from which to serve her clients. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in graphic design and subsequently earned a Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, one of the top-rated architecture schools in the country. Upon moving to Northern Virginia, she worked for an architecture firm in Fairfax, designing luxury residential homes. Although she thoroughly enjoyed working in architecture and design, she decided to pursue her love of animals and owned a 185-acre farm in Western Loudoun. She owned and operated a large equestrian facility, with up to 54 boarded horses, prior to converting it to an alpaca farm. She ran the day-to-day operations of her alpaca farm for fourteen years, developing a nationally recognized breeding program with over 250 alpacas at the height of its success. She has a special knowledge and appreciation of local farmland and the beautiful barns and equestrian properties that Northern Virginia has to offer. The sale of her farm led to her real estate career and she is passionate about helping people solve their real estate needs. Sharon has experience with luxury home sales, residential home design, farm and equestrian property sales, farm layout and design, custom builders, new construction, land development, land sales and purchases, property management and commercial real estate. She works with sellers, buyers, and investors in the Northern Virginia area and has referral partners globally. Sharon’s client-centric approach thrives on trust and long-term relationships, with most of her client portfolio built on repeat business.
